All portrait miniatures are very personal and private objects, and that includes our beloved pets; it's always an honour to be trusted with their likeness. This commissioned work involved layers of careful texture to get her fur looking as if you could bury your fingers in it.

A sleek contemporary frame finishes the piece, handmade in my studio, making the whole piece into a tactile artwork.
