Though these monumental buildings suffer losses over the centuries, the outlines these leave behind are no less precious, and are testament to its perseverance through changing times.

It took me a long while, but I've painted another miniature in this series of Byland Abbey: it's currently been pre-selected for the Royal Miniatures Society exhibition this winter, and if successful it'll be available to purchase there.
