The Pyg

This emerald-green doorway faces onto the River Alzette in Luxembourg City; I loved the vivid colour and its old-world appearance, and that odd name! It's part of the ‘Portals’ series; one of several miniature paintings of intriguing doorways found on my travels, although not often walked through.
