Down from Blencathra

Coming down from the summit of Blencathra in crisp late afternoon light, turning the snow deep blue in the shadows. The sky was still a bright eggshell blue despite the season and the lateness of the hour. 

I made and painted the frame to suit the textures and contrast of this view.
