Jenny Brown's Point

Just outside Silverdale village in Lancashire, Jenny Brown’s Point is a small quiet headland, with a few historic structures to its name; there's some debate about what this chimney was for, but it's generally taken to be the remains of an 18th century copper smelting furnace. A beautiful spot for it; historic coastal ruins fascinate me, seeming like sentinels with the land behind them and the sea ahead.
