Lines In The Sand III

Influenced by the sea-channelled patterns of the beach and by the natural roots of sinuous Celtic designs, this sculpted, carved, gilded and painted piece was built up in progressively intricate layers with acrylic pastiglia. Texture was drawn out and built in with 23ct gold leaf, then with acrylic paint.
