Saddleback

Approaching the summit of Saddleback - or Blencathra - one of the northern fells in The Lake District, on a wonderfully clear winter's day; high on the fell the wind sculpts the ice into fantastical shapes and freezes every grass blade. It needed a large canvas to get all these wonderful frozen forms in all their detail.
